Photo Book
This project incorporates the art and exploration of photography. The title, Gallivant—meaning to travel from place to place in search of pleasure or adventure—was inspired by a song lyric. It captures the essence of photography as an exciting journey: wandering, discovering, and finding joy in observing the world through the lens.
This zine is designed to introduce readers to the many different aspects of photography. It’s an invitation to explore, to discover what you’re passionate about, and to develop an eye for capturing the world in your own unique way. Through photography, we learn to notice and appreciate the little details in life that often go unnoticed — the textures, colors, and fleeting moments that make our world beautiful.
Inspiration
Using articles from Medium.com as resources, I explored a range of photography topics that teach and inspire people to grow as photographers. Each article covers different aspects of the craft — from getting started and developing your style, to working with clients and experimenting with various shooting techniques. I paired these written insights with my own photographs, creating visual connections that bring each topic to life and reflect my personal perspective behind the lens.
